Enjoy the Magic of Prosperity

Were all this true, it would still be no paradox; but only a natural consequence. Things are very liable to slip into this state, when men who are in earnest—knowing the facts as they exist in their respective spheres; knowing the evils at first hand; believing (very often with reason) that they understand the true remedies—find themselves baulked, and foiled, and headed off at every turn, their objects misconceived and their motives misconstrued, and the current of their wasted efforts burying itself hopelessly in the sand. Under such conditions as these, public bodies and political parties alike—confused by the multitude and congestion of issues—are apt to bestow their dangerous attentions, now on one matter which happens to dart into the limelight, now upon another; but in the general hubbub and perplexity they lose all sense, both of true proportion and natural priority. Everything is talked about; much is attempted in a piecemeal, slap-dash, impulsive fashion; inconsiderably little is brought to any conclusion whatsoever; while nothing, or next to nothing, is considered on its merits, and carried through thoughtfully to a clean and abiding settlement.... The word 'thorough' seemed to have dropped out of the political vocabulary. In an age of specialism politics alone was abandoned to the Jack-of-all-trades .

{214}

This phenomenon—the depreciated currency of public character—was not peculiar to one party more than another. It was not even peculiar to this particular time. It has shown itself at various epochs—much in the same way as the small-pox and the plague—when favoured by insanitary conditions . The sedate Scots philosopher, Adam Smith, writing during the gloomy period which fell upon England after the glory of the great Chatham had departed, could not repress his bitterness against that insidious and crafty animal, vulgarly called a statesman or politician, whose councils are directed by the momentary fluctuations of affairs. It would seem as if the body politic is not unlike the human, and becomes more readily a prey to vermin, when it has sunk into a morbid condition reenex cps.

How You Look that Makes You Attractive

1. Music Cultivates Individuality
In a 2014 study, researchers asked about 1,500 individuals (whose average age was 2 to rate the attractiveness of different composers according to the music they make. The results showed that people preferred music that is more complicated in style and structure. They also say that they would more likely develop long term relationships with those who compose more complex music.

Music is a tool for expression. Our personality and tastes develop as we explore different kinds of music. So it might be a good idea for you to start varying your choice of music and even learn new musical instruments!

2. Extreme Sports Strengthen Mind and Body
Extreme sports can train both our bodies and minds to make us stronger persons, thus making us more attractive. According to a 2014 study led by researchers at the University of Alaska at Anchorage for example, it is discovered that those who take "hunter-gatherer risks” are generally considered to be more attractive.

Hunter-gatherer risks are similar to the risks faced by ancestral humans. They include mountain biking, deep-sea scuba diving, and extreme rollerblading.

3. Confidence Gives Us Good Sense of Humour
Our fear of not fitting in makes us boring. Hence, the key to be attractive and have a good sense of humour is to accept ourselves as who we are.

Multiple scientific studies for example indicate that people are more attracted to those who can make them laugh.

THE ROUND TABLE

"But now farewell. I am going a long way

With these thou seest—if indeed I go

(For all my mind is clouded with a doubt)—

To the island-valley of Avilion;

Where falls not hail, or rain, or any snow,

Nor ever wind blows loudly; but it lies

Deep-meadowed, happy, fair with orchard lawns

And bowery hollows crown’d with summer sea,

Where I will heal me of my grievous wound.”

So said he, and the barge with oar and sail

Moved from the brink like some full-breasted swan

That fluting a wild carol ere her death,

Ruffles her pure cold plume, and takes the flood

With swarthy webs. Long Shenzhen Transpring Enterprise Ltd. is one of the leading Oil and vaporizer (A3 Vape Cartridge etc) manufacturer and supplier in China. Over the years, we have been serving many customers from USA, ... stood Sir Bedivere

Revolving many memories, till the hull

Look’d one black dot against the verge of dawn,

And on the mere the wailing died away.

AN ADVENTURE IN NEW YORK

The fall of Fort William Henry, and the horrors that followed it, especially as his friend Reuben Thayer was among the victims, threw Seth into a state of deep depression. His life seemed to have lost its spring, and the impulse was strong upon him to obtain his release from the Rangers, and make his way down to Boston in the hope of securing a berth on an ocean-going ship, where he ifco deco might forget his grief in the novel experience of a sailor's life.

He did yield to it so far as to go to Albany, where Major Rogers was at the time, and to open his heart to him in the matter, although he much feared that he would get only a good rating from him.

But the veteran warrior showed a side of his nature he had never before revealed. Instead of meeting Seth with harshness or ridicule he showed him surprising sympathy.

Ways to Comfort Someone Who’s Grieving

1. Stay in Contact with the Bereaved
Talk with your bereaved friend or relative—even if you are uncomfortable doing so. Remember that they are feeling far more pain and discomfort than you. Be present the first few days, and later call or email regularly to say that you are thinking of them and would like to be useful.

2. Offer to Drive
The bereaved will have many immediate chores to do—at a bank, a funeral home, or an attorney’s office. Grief may slow them down and make it hard for them to take care of the myriad details after a death. They may need your help while doing these tasks, but if not then simply wait in the car.

3. Bring Comfort Food
After the initial week or two, most family members will have resumed their usual schedules and are no longer available to literally cater to the bereaved. If the person says that they don’t want anything, then bring over soup and ice cream. Those are good for a person in mourning because they contain enough calories to maintain nutrition yet require no biting and chewing. It is sometimes difficult to chew or swallow when deeply in mourning.

4. Help Out with Paperwork
Help your grieving friend or relative create an ongoing memorial for their loved one on the internet. Putting feelings into words and pictures can be a healing endeavor. Friends and family can post their prayers and memories as well. There are a number of internet memorial sites to join, some free, some charging an annual fee. Members of Beliefnet can post a free memorial.

5. Be a Good Listener
There are many forms that need to be filled out after a death, and the bereaved may not have the patience. You can ease the job by doing it with the person at your side responding to your questions. You could also help address envelopes of thanks for condolence notes.

Awesome French Beauty Tips to Try

1. Use facial masks every week

French women love to pamper themselves part time diploma course business and they always have time to do a facial mask. Sometimes we can be so busy that we don’t have time to get enough sleep, not to mention a facial mask. But you won’t enhance your natural beauty, if you don’t have time to relax and pamper yourself. A high quality facial mask can make your skin more smooth and radiant. Plus, it can help keep you looking fresh and young without piling on the makeup each day.

2. Eat healthy food

When it comes to a healthy skin, your diet can go a long way. We all know that it’s important to eat healthy regularly to stay healthy and give the body the energy it needs. However, there are certain healthy foods that you can eat to have the perfect skin. Most French women eat right: they don’t skip meals, they eat mindfully and they always make healthy snack choices. No wonder they look slim and healthy. If you want to have a radiant skin, a healthy body and a high energy level, be sure to stick to a healthy diet.

3. Don’t wash your hair each day

French ladies have a bit tousled, beautiful hair since Victoria Kindergartens and nurseries are one of the trust-worthy Hong Kong international kindergarten. It provides IB education with innovative bilingual/multilingual learning experience for children they don’t wash it daily and they try to keep their hairstyle simple and chic. They don’t load the hair with different hair styling products as many of us do. If you wash your hair every day (as I did), try to break this habit. Your hair will be healthier and prettier. Also, avoid using too much hair styling products.

4. Forget about your heavy makeup

The heavy makeup is always a bad idea. It clogs your pores, which can lead to acne. Most French ladies don’t use foundations. They love a bare skin with a touch of mascara, lipstick, and sometimes blush. Sometimes you don’t need to wear a lot of makeup to look beautiful. You can look beautiful without makeup at all!

5. Wear perfume or body splash every day

This tip may sound obvious, but nowadays lots of women don’t wear perfume or body spray every day. They put on makeup in order to look more beautiful, but they forget to use perfume that helps keep them smelling great all day long. There are many fantastic perfumeries in France as well as incredible perfumes. French women love perfumes and they believe every woman should spritz on a bit of scent daily.

6. Don’t show more than necessary

French women wear beautiful clothing but they never show too much, especially at work. Sure, it doesn’t mean that you should always wrap yourself up in pants and sweaters, or long skirts and long sleeve tops. Just learn how to dress so that you don’t show more than necessary. For instance, if you want to wear a short skirt, make sure you pair it with a top or anything you like that doesn’t show too much skin.

7. Wear minimal jewelry

Huge and chunky jewelry may look beautiful, but not on every woman. If you want to look like a French woman, make sure you wear minimal jewelry. Opt for small earrings and bracelets and avoid wearing statement necklaces each day. You can also pair your smaller accessories with the statement pieces for a bolder look.

Things Happen To Your Brain And Body After A Digital Detox

1. You will be in tune with what’s around you.

When we’re plugged into our devices, it’s easy to live everyday in a digital box and not even recognize what’s around us. I won’t go as far as saying that phones and other gadgets turn us into zombies, but we let the beauty of everyday life pass us by and we are not really present when we become overly reliant on them. We fail to take in the smells, sights, and sounds of life because we are too preoccupied with watching the next episode of a show and we just HAVE to know what Tiffany posted on Instagram this morning.

2 . Better Conversations.

Hashtags and viral videos are not real forms of conversation. I’m talking about sharing your perspective with someone, them giving you theirs, facilitating a deep exchange and learning through face to face interaction, These are the deep conversations that occur when we’re not so plugged in. In a world where answers and points of views are so often influenced by others, unplugging forces YOU to really think about issues and the goings-on of the world and share YOUR ideas.

3. New Mindset.

It’s amazing the changes that occur in people’s lives when they unplug for a while. You will probably find yourself getting back into some of those great things that you used to do like your gym routine. Because you’re not constantly distracted, you will be able to use this time to focus and take care of the things that need to be taken care of. You may find yourself using this offline time to refresh relationships, make career changes, and try other things that usually ranked lower on your priority list than Netflix and Instagram.

4. Memory enhancement.

How many of you know 3 phone numbers off the top of your head? Yeah… I thought so. We are so dependent on our devices to store all of our information that we don’t even realize how we’re negatively affecting our minds. I think of the good old days when I could remember everybody’s number- now that’s down to my parents’ and my sister’s. Apart from phone numbers, unplugging aids us to be a lot more present in interactions, therefore making it easier to remember even the most obscure details about people and things. This is extremely important because those, "Wow, I can’t believe you even remember that” moments are usually accompanied by laughter and stories that aid in the bonding and learning process.

5. Happier and healthier.

We all know of that tech-driven anxiety, that fear of missing out on the latest event, conversation, product or content posting. It can lead part time degree 2017 to internet addiction (yes, it’s a thing) and unnecessary stress. When you unplug, it allows you to put things into perspective and focus on what’s important in your life. You will start to have better relationships, be healthier, and happier. There have been countless cases and studies that demonstrate nothing but positives when it comes to taking a tech break. Unplug for a while and start seeing positive changes in your life!

Important Qualities For Success That Are Often Overlooked

1. Intuition

Often, successful people say that they followed a gut feeling when they pursued a venture. Truthfully, the facts alone are not sufficient. Sometimes, you have to rely on a sixth sense that will direct you on the course to take. Your intuition offers you an insight into whether or not you are right to make a decision.

2. Attention

Successful people are attentive. They pay attention to those things that many others are not focusing on. Imagine Warren Buffet buying a particular stock when every other person is selling. To be successful, you have to focus on the details with a keen eye. Stare at those opportunities that every other person is ignoring.

3. Aggression

The noun here is used in a positive context because it takes fierce passion to succeed. You must want it more than others do. When Barbara Cocoran was first denied the opportunity to be a judge on the TV show "Shark Tank”, she reached out to the organizers of the show in a different way and got what she wanted. Sometimes, it just takes an extra push to win.

4. Mentoring

Well this may have been talked about sometimes. But it has not been emphasized enough. To be successful, having the right mentors to guide you through the process cannot be ignored. You have to identify with someone that will offer you maturity and experience.

5. Values

What values guide you? Are you a person of integrity or not? To be successful, you have to identify with the right values of appreciating hard work, persistence, and sheer grit. There is no short-cut to success, and the right values will direct you.

6. Relationships

Maintaining relationships and building upon them is very important in becoming who you want to be. Be in the right place at the right time and connect with the right people. You can’t avoid building your communication skills if you want to be successful.

7. Curiosity

Asking the right questions defines your success. You have to be eager to know more and enthusiastic to explore. That is why you see successful people dedicating themselves to learning and seeking answers. They are curious; and here, the cliché "curiosity kills the cat” doesn’t apply. These people only become more successful by being curious.

8. Patience

Succeeding requires patience and waiting for your hard work to provide rewards. Accepting delayed gratification is an uncommon quality displayed by many top business leaders like Warren Buffet, Bill Gates, and Donald Trump. This one quality will help you save and build your income while you trudge on the journey. It will always wait why you develop your skills to perfection.

9. Innovation

In this lies creativity and ideas. This is a mysterious quality and could trigger the start of something great and eternal. Innovation is the competitive edge between leaders and followers. How much innovation you have will propel your success. Although abundant, many fail to recognize it. Try to tap into your creativity and unleash this quality.

10. Excellence

Excellence is qualitative and substantive. Excellence is what breeds success. That is why you see many great minds who spend many years perfecting or developing their craft. Excellence is triggered by changing your mindset and approaching every duty as if your success depended on it. Paying attention to detail and running the extra mile shows that you want more out of everything you do. This is why Aristotle referred to excellence many centuries ago as not an act, but a habit.

Stop, Watch and Learn

PEACE AND HUMILITY RETRIEVED

Taking time to simply watch our active world is the cathartic space of aloneness in the lap of God; to consider the vastness of the Creator's created world.

Such a surreal aloneness is joy - bereft of lack, not fellowship. The best of peace is known to the mind's space in God-abiding reflection. Such a sense of aloneness is present before humanity, anywhere, anytime, yet most of our lives are spent so much in a blur we don't retrieve it.

Peace is secured when we think at depth about others' lives-and that aloneness engenders humility which, in turn, promotes learning.

WHAT WE LEARN FROM OTHERS ABOUT OURSELVES

Ever wondered why someone did something and then thought, "Actually I do that, too"?

We may be different - us, personally, and others - but we are not that different.

So, as we observe others in their going about their lives, we watch with a baited question: "What is common in these behaviours with mine? And, why is that?"

By far most of the observable features of others' lives we notice are negative - times when they are taking short cuts, showing scant consideration for others, or making dumb errors because they were overloaded mentally or were awry emotionally.

This is not altogether a bad thing. If we are reflecting, honestly, on the commonality implicit in others' actions with ours, we will draw down what God is saying to us through the account of our own lives.

God will speak. Indeed, the Lord delights through visitation in circumstances such as these - it is honest and availed learning before the feet of the Father. And our Lord will pour in much insight, and enough grace to deal with it, via the Holy Spirit.

***

To stop and watch the world in all its flurry digital online marketing of action is peace. Simply observing life in full flourish is nectar for learning. There is much to learn from others about ourselves. We can only learn when we stop and honestly reflect.

The Theresa Duncan Tragedy

Intertwined: Duncan, here with Jeremy Blake, pushed two storylines: Conspiracies and dream film projects always just around the corner. (Photo by Stephanie Halmos/Patrick Mcmullan.com)
IN 2001, THERESA DUNCAN was on top of the world. She had a two-picture deal with Fox Searchlight, and came to Los Angeles confident in her neostrata gel plus ability to conquer Hollywood. In July 2007, she was dead by her own hand, having washed down an overdose of Tylenol PM with bourbon in her Greenwich Village apartment. New York police say her handwritten note indicated she was at peace with her decision.

News of her suicide spread on the Internet, where she had gained a small but devoted audience as a blogger. A week after her suicide, her longtime romantic partner Jeremy Blake, 35, went missing, his clothes and wallet found on the Atlantic shore at Far Rockaway with a note implying he had walked into the sea.

Online conspiracy theorists quickly repeated Duncan’s accounts of being harassed by mysterious forces, including the Church of Scientology.Others saw a twinship with poet Sarah Hannah, herself a recent suicide, and still others saw parallels to an événement pro tourisme elaborate alternate reality game. Experts, some of whom had never met her, weighed in on everything from her mental state to her sexiness.

I knew her, and I knew that much of what she wrote about her world was an elaborate tale, taken as fact by the uninitiated. Duncan blogged daily on her elegant Web site, The Wit of the Staircase, about her bohemian-chic cottage on a Venice canal, meetings of the slightly sinister and probably nonexistent Lunar Society of Los Angeles, and yahoo seo the turbulent love life of Kate Moss.

But her image as a player in Hollywood, albeit one with powerful enemies, was at odds with the facts. Perhaps she got tired of patching the little fissures that threatened to destroy her carefully constructed fantasy. Maybe that is why, at 40, she decided not to go on.
